>>> FEATURED: Choosing
a class for SCCA Solo II racing |
| |
So, you
plan on doing some SCCA Solo II racing? That's great -
you've selected quite a capable car as a starting point.
But before racing, you'll need to find out which class you
belong in (based on your car's current modifications).
To help you, I've created a checklist of common Scirocco modifications
that shows which classes they are allowed in. This list should serve as a
guide for determining your class, and to help in planning
future modifications... |

>>> FEATURED: Odometer repair
|
| |
| |
After
many miles of usage, older VW odometers tend to stop functioning properly
(or altogether). The culprit is usually easy to track
down, but first you've got to take the gauge cluster out and
disassemble the speedometer gauge. Doing this is not hard,
but it can be tedious work the first time you attempt it.
So, I've created a walk-through with pictures and full
descriptions to help you along the way... |

>>> FEATURED: Dodge
Dynasty headlight installation |
| |
The
American style headlights just don't cut it when it comes to
light output, so I began searching for a better alternative.
Euro headlights look pretty good, but carry a high price.
I once heard that Dodge Dynasty headlights are approximately the
same size as Euro headlights, so I decided to give them a try.
What if you could achieve the Euro headlight look and light
output at a fraction of the cost? |
